Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer to join our team to lead the testing for our upcoming retail banking digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance from functional as well non-functional standpoint and understanding of retail banking software/solutions.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- Build test plans for new features continuously improving existing ones.
- Requirement Analysis and design test cases.
- Conduct various types of testing (Smoke Sanity Functional SIT E2E Compatibility Regression Accessibility Performance) and assist with UAT and post-production verification.
- Conduct mobile app testing to ensure quality across web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders including Engineering team members Product Managers and Infra teams.
- Identify track and report defects perform root cause analysis and support defect triage.
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation of QA processes test cases and findings.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing across all team members.
Qualifications & Experience:
Degrees Diplomas & Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field.
Years and Range of Experience Required to Perform the Job:
- 3 years in QA engineering with expertise in manual as well as web & mobile testing.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies tools and processes.
- Proficient with JIRA Zephyr Postman and Cross-browser/device tools.
- Excellent problem-solving attention to detail and strong communication and collaboration skills.
Added Advantage:
- Exposure on - performance/stress testing accessibility testing security testing automated testing.
- Having worked in Start-up or fast paced environments
