Responsibilities:
- Manage billing and collections for Medicare and Medicaid in Texas.
- Oversee credentialing processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of claims.
- Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve billing issues.
- Maintain patient billing records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve billing workflows.
- Assist in developing and implementing billing policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- 12 years of experience in home health hospice and medical equipment billing.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing regulations in Texas.
- Experience with credentialing.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
