We are seeking a talented and creative video editor to transform raw clips and video footage into high-quality finished videos. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video and the ability to craft engaging content that resonates with our diverse audience. This individual will play a crucial role in producing high-quality video content for various marketing initiatives across our resorts attractions and entertainment properties.

Job Functions:

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished engaging videos that align with the companys brand and marketing goals *
• Assist in the development of storyboards scripts and shot lists for video projects *
• Perform color correction audio editing and sound design to enhance overall video quality *
• Incorporate motion graphics animations and visual effects to elevate visual storytelling *
• Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project objectives target audiences and messaging strategies *
• Stay current with video production trends emerging technologies and industry best practices in social media and digital marketing *
• Organize and maintain a video asset library for easy access and repurposing *
• Perform photo editing and color correction for marketing images *
• Keep up-to-date with industry best practices emerging technologies and trends in video production editing social media AI and digital marketing *
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Completion of high school or GED
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Bachelors degree in Film Production Video Editing Photography Graphic Design Communications or proven experience in these fields preferably in a marketing or creative agency setting
  • 3 years of experience in lieu of education
• Minimum of 3 year(s) of experience in Video Editing Creative Agency Digital Marketing
• Must have a valid drivers license

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Strong understanding of cinematography composition and storytelling techniques.
• The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro Davinci Resolve After Effects etc.) and knowledge of post-production processes
• Proficiency in photography and post-production (preferred not required)
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (especially Photoshop and Illustrator) (preferred not required)
