Job Description

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Accountant to be based in our Pozna Office. This is a fixed term position for 1 year.

Your future team:

As part of our team you will be operating at the core of our business where your financial skills will lead to better decision-making throughout the entire value chain. Together we make our business run smoothly and contribute to our companys development and growth. Within your field you can work on a variety of assignments with a high level of responsibility from reporting and analyzing business performance to ensuring bills are paid. You will be exposed to projects that develop your skills and allow you to progress your career.

What you will be doing:

  • Compliant handling of the accounts payable period close and all engagements related hereto
  • Correct and timely processing of vendor invoices and subsequent (overdue) reporting
  • Manage payment proposals and vendor discounts
  • Comply with internal policies SLA and external legislation
  • Maintenance of internal controls (own processes)
  • Prepare audit files and facilitate auditions (internal and external)
  • Manage stakeholder relationships
  • Identifying potential process improvements
  • Availability to work 9-17 (once a week)

Therefore you can expect to travel 7 days a year e.g. when visiting offices in North America.

What you bring:

  • At least 2 years of experience in similar position
  • University graduate preferably in Economics Accounting or Banking
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience with MS Excel or SAP would be a plus
  • Analytical and communication skills
  • Openness to learn new processes
  • Team player approach
