Job Description
We are seeking a RN - Labor and Delivery for a 13-weeks travel/contract assignment in Beverly MA 01915.
Job Details:
- Shift: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (Nights)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Pay Rate: $2520 - $2664
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients including monitoring maternal and fetal well-being.
- Assist physicians and certified nurse midwives with deliveries and obstetric procedures.
- Administer medications and manage pain relief interventions including epidurals and IV medications.
- Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
- Perform fetal monitoring interpret data and respond appropriately to abnormalities.
- Support patients and families with education and emotional guidance throughout the birthing process.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies nursing standards and professional best practices.
- Respond quickly and effectively to obstetric emergencies.
- Provide postpartum care immediately following delivery.
Requirements:
- Current and active Massachusetts RN license (required).
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience (required).
- EPIC electronic medical record experience (preferred).
- Current BLS and NRP certifications (required).
- ACLS certification (preferred).
- Strong critical thinking communication and teamwork skills.
