About:
We are Seeking a Production Manager to lead plant operations by driving efficiency safety and quality to meet customer demands. This role focuses on maximizing production performance while managing resources effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production activities ensuring 100% on-time delivery and tracking operational efficiency.
- Train and cross-train employees to maintain production flexibility.
- Implement and continuously improve Quality Management Systems (QMS) to reduce defects.
- Enforce company policies covering safety quality productivity and continuous improvement.
- Manage inventory to achieve eight turns annually and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Uphold 5S principles throughout the facility.
- Lead coach and develop plant personnel fostering communication across departments including HR Accounting Engineering Sales and other plants.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong background managing diverse teams and establishing lean material flows.
- Knowledge of the automotive industry preferred; Associate degree or equivalent required.
- Proven leadership skills using Lean methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; Excel skills are a plus.
- Understanding of OEM market dynamics.
- Availability for occasional extended hours and weekends.
- Must pass drug screening and background check.
