Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cutlists based on technical drawings and design specifications.
- Optimize material usage to minimize waste and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with designers production teams and vendors to validate measurements and material requirements.
- Utilize cutting optimization software (such as AutoCAD Woodwork for Inventor or other CNC-related tools) to generate precise cutting instructions.
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards and company guidelines.
- Maintain an updated database of materials hardware and inventory to streamline production workflows.
- Troubleshoot design or manufacturing issues and propose feasible solutions.
- Assist in updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training documentation for cutlist preparation.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree/diploma in Interior Design Wood Technology Furniture Manufacturing or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in cutlist preparation or related roles in the interior design or related industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD SketchUp Woodwork for Inventor or other relevant software.
- Strong understanding of woodworking materials laminates veneers and hardware components.
- Attention to detail with excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
