We are now hiring a Business Unit Head for Rare Diseases to lead our commercial operations in South Korea - one of the most strategic and high-potential markets in the region.



Responsibilities:

As the Business Unit Head Rare Diseases you will:

  • Own the full P&L and commercial performance for the Rare Diseases Business Unit in South Korea.
  • Lead strategic planning and execution of launches and commercial initiatives ensuring alignment with global and regional objectives.
  • Drive growth and market access of our rare disease portfolio through innovative business models and deep market insight.
  • Build coach and lead a high-performing team including Key Account Managers ensuring long-term talent development and succession planning.
  • Partner cross-functionally with medical market access regulatory and external stakeholders to drive success.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with KOLs HCPs and healthcare institutions to establish Medison as a trusted partner in rare diseases.
  • Champion ethical leadership embodying Medison s values compliance standards and patient-first culture in all activities.

Requirements :

  • Minimum 7 years experience in pharmaceutical product or business management.
  • At least 3 years in rare diseases or highly innovative therapy areas.
  • Proven success in leading product launches multi-brand portfolios and market development initiatives.
  • Strong experience in P&L management market analysis and commercial execution.
  • Deep knowledge of the South Korean healthcare landscape with a strong local network of KOLs and HCPs.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and motivating teams to deliver exceptional results.
  • Bachelors degree in Life Sciences Pharmacy Medicine or related fields preferred.
  • Fluent in Korean with strong proficiency in English.
  • High ethical standards collaborative mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
