Job Description
Stationed either at Warm Springs or Pine Creek (Clarno) the Biologist It will work on the 34000-acre Pine Creek Conservation Area. Duties include performing various habitat monitoring herbicide applications habitat restoration project management writing reports assisting in writing management plans and grants flora and fauna inventory GIS data collection and supporting the Conservation Area Project Leader on management activities on the property. Must be comfortable working alone in extremely remote desert wilderness. Must be able to withstand long periods of working in temperatures in excess of 100 degrees hiking long distances in steep terrain operating ATV/UTVs and performing strenuous duties such as heavy lifting.

Requires Bachelors of Science in wildlife biology, botany, natural resources, or related field, valid driver's license, and three years professional experience related to position, Requires clean driving record, background check, drug/alcohol screening.
