Job Overview:
WEQ Technologies PVT is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 0-6 Months to 2years of experience in software testing including functional and non-functional testing and strong debugging skills. The candidate should be capable of working independently and collaboratively with the development team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Primary Responsibilities:
Functional and Non-Functional Testing:
- Prepare and execute test scenarios test cases and test data.
- Ensure thorough testing of the software product to meet quality standards.
Documentation:
- Maintain detailed documentation of test scenarios test cases change requests and defects.
- Track test results and monitor progress.
Testing and Debugging:
- Perform manual testing to identify bugs or errors.
- Review bug reports to determine legitimacy and avoid duplication.
- Conduct regression and sanity testing.
Automation and Performance:
- Knowledge of Selenium Automation for automated testing.
- Perform load and security testing to evaluate system performance.
Database and Code Analysis:
- Strong SQL query skills for data validation and debugging.
- Identify and resolve product issues to meet customer needs.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with developers to identify potential problems before they occur.
- Provide detailed bug reports and suggest solutions to the development team.
- Ensure end-to-end traceability of product changes.
Continuous Improvement:
- Encourage continuous testing to discover and resolve issues early.
- Monitor product quality and provide feedback for improvement.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Ability to work independently and take ownership of the project.
Effective team player with strong collaboration skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Enthusiastic and able to handle challenges effectively.
Strong computer skills and knowledge of QA databases and applications.
Skills and Qualifications:
6 month to 2 years of experience as a Quality Analyst in the IT industry.
Proficiency in manual testing and knowledge of automation testing using Selenium.
Strong understanding of SQL queries and debugging experience.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to perform under pressure and meet project deadlines.
Experience with regression sanity and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
