The Stores area creates the technical basis for efficient store processes by using the latest technologies. Our customers will be able to see the results of your work first-hand in all ALDI SOUTH stores worldwide. In order to provide store associates with the most up-to-date hardware and software support we are continually expanding our current team of experts.

Your Job

What you give your best for.

• Strategically developing the IT system landscape for our stores and supporting the introduction of new innovative technologies in order to facilitate the work of our colleagues in store operations in the best possible way
• Contributing to and managing IT projects and initiatives
• Creating and coordinating business cases to support decisions on the introductionof new solutions
• Developing the roadmap for the stores area; conducting strategic planning and collaborating with international stakeholders
• Creating presentations for cross-hierarchical committees
• Continuously monitoring international retail markets and competitorsin terms of trends and the use of new technologies

Your Profile

What you should have.

• Degree in business administration computer science or a comparable qualification
• Proven multi-year experience in IT project planning management and execution including the ability to manage multiple topics simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills in English and German and effective communication at different hierarchical levels
• Independent and proactive working style as well as organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
• Analytical mindset and the ability to process complex information
• Extensive knowledge of industry technology and retail trends
• High degree of trustworthiness and discretion

What is desirable.

• Experience working in IT project management or in a management consulting firm
• Very good Excel and PowerPoint skills are considered an advantage
