Role Mission
The Talent Acquisition (TA) Leader GBS Americas plays a critical role in building a high-performing scalable and business-aligned recruitment operation across Latin America with a dual focus:
- Strategically lead and manage the GBS Americas Talent Acquisition team ensuring the recruitment and sourcing of key professionals within the GBS functions (Finance HR Procurement IT etc.).
- Oversee and operate the regional recruitment delivery model for all Latin American countries managing a centralized team responsible for fulfilling hiring needs for job grades 9 and below (excluding tenders) with accountability for hiring service delivery compliance and stakeholder satisfaction.
In addition to managing teams and processes this is a hands-on leadership role. The TA Leader is also expected to personally manage end-to-end recruitment for critical GBS leadership roles and high-impact positions offering deep expertise and partnership to HR Business Partners and hiring managers.
This leader is responsible for harmonizing recruitment processes standardizing tools improving time-to-fill and ensuring a consistent high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience. They will also work closely with the LATAM HR Integration & Transformation team to drive continuous improvement workforce planning alignment recruitment technology utilization and employer branding initiatives.
Key Functions
Strategic Talent Acquisition Leadership
- Define and execute a GBS recruitment strategy that ensures efficient timely and quality hiring for the GBS functions across the Americas.
- Lead the operational delivery of the regional TA Shared Services model for Latin America (JG9 and below) ensuring excellence consistency and alignment with global and regional policies.
- Partner with HR GBS HR Business Partners and business stakeholders to proactively forecast hiring needs and build talent pipelines.
Stakeholder & Process Management
- Act as the key point of contact for all GBS recruitment activities ensuring transparent and responsive stakeholder engagement.
- Align recruitment SLAs and KPIs with business expectations providing regular reporting and insights.
- Ensure effective and compliant execution of all hiring processes and continuously refine procedures for better outcomes.
Operational Excellence & Process Harmonization
- Harmonize and standardize recruitment processes documentation and candidate tracking systems across the region to maximize scalability and efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement and automation leveraging recruitment technology (e.g. SmartRecruiters Workday LinkedIn) to streamline operations and enhance visibility.
- Monitor and improve core KPIs such as time-to-fill quality-of-hire sourcing efficiency and hiring manager satisfaction.
Critical Role Recruitment
- Personally lead the recruitment process for GBS leadership roles and critical positions requiring senior-level expertise and influence.
- Conduct structured interviews competency-based assessments and negotiation of offers ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and HR Business Partners on talent selection internal mobility and market insights.
Team Management & Capability Building
- Lead and develop a high-performing Talent Acquisition team with strong sourcing relationship and process execution skills.
- Drive a culture of accountability learning and performance in line with SGSs High-Performance Culture.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and upskilling of TA team members integrating best practices in employer branding DEI hiring and candidate engagement.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Psychology Business Administration or related field.
- A Masters degree or MBA is a plus.
- Professional certification in Talent Acquisition Employer Branding or Recruitment Marketing is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (e.g. SmartRecruiters Workday) and sourcing platforms (LinkedIn Recruiter job boards etc.) is required.
Informacin adicional :
- Minimum of 810 years of experience in Talent Acquisition including at least 3 years in a leadership or regional coordination role.
- Proven experience managing recruitment for GBS or Shared Services organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead both strategic planning and operational delivery including hands-on recruitment for senior roles.
- Deep experience in Latin American talent markets ideally across multiple countries.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to influence senior leaders and manage competing priorities.
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English required; Portuguese is a strong advantage.
