What you will do:The Corporate Tax supervisor will supervise plan direct and coordinate the overall technical and administrative activities of the Corporate Tax team.
Primary duties include:- Determining priorities and other opportunities for administering work timely and efficiently
- Maintaining tax and process knowledge
- Hiring a competent empowered and forward-thinking team
- Administering the agency EMPS program staff organization employee engagement training career development plans team and leave succession planning and personnel matters
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders to understand section requirements
- Identifying issues to define improvements for section processes
- Developing procedures for all tasks and duties performed in the section
- Creating statistical reports for trends
- Determining any system modifications or enhancements needed
- Evaluating the needs for and leads special projects
Minimum and Additional Requirements
Either:
- A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management public administration or administrative services OR
- A bachelors degree
Academic degrees must be from an accredited institution of higher learning.
Preferred Qualifications
- A bachelors degree and three years of relevant experience in business management public administration or administrative services
- Knowledge of accounting policies and procedures
- The ability to organize coordinate administer direct and supervisor to maintain a self-sufficient section

- Training: As a Corporate Tax Supervisor you will participate in a training program to ensure they have the knowledge and skills to successfully perform their job.
- Hours: Work hours are 8:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Monday Friday (37.5 hours per week).
- Telework schedule: This position may be eligible to work remotely up to one day per week.
