Job Description
Job Title: Shift Supervisor
Location: Plattsburgh NY (100% onsite)
Job Description:
- We are seeking motivated and experienced Shift Supervisors to lead assembly teams during multiple production shifts.
- Supervisors are accountable for team performance compliance with safety and quality standards and maintaining effective communication across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee daily operations of assembly teams during assigned shifts.
- Ensure team compliance with EHS policies and QA standards.
- Drive performance in alignment with method times DPU targets and visual management systems.
- Maintain 5S level 3 or higher across all work areas.
- Coordinate with Engineering Quality and EHS departments to resolve issues promptly.
- Participate in team meetings audits and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory role.
- Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
- Proven knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and defect reduction.
- Ability to manage performance and drive results under pressure.
- Flexible to work across shifts including weekends if required
