Job Title:Graduate Student Employee Biweekly - Armstrong Browning Library

Contact:

Work Schedule: 8 - 12 hours per week between 9am and 5pm.

Desired Length of Employment: Fall 2025 Spring 2026

Pay Rate: $15.00

Job Description:

The graduate assistant will research design and implement a collections assessment project for the Armstrong Browning Librarys archival collections. This is an excellent opportunity to expand on previous archival course work or student employment in an archive.

The graduate student will
Fall 2025 - Research best practices in conducting an archival collections assessment and design a collections assessment project plan with a rubric for the Armstrong Browning Librarys Archival Collections.
Spring 2026 Carryout the collections assessment researched and designed in the fall semester.
The graduate assistant may also assist at the Library Services Center conduct research to help library staff respond to email enquiries assist with instruction sessions etc.

Qualifications:
Ability to work the assigned hours per week in the library and during the librarys hours (Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm).
Strong research and writing skills.
Project management and backwards planning experience.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated curiosity and ability to ask questions creative problem solving and dependability.
