Samsung continues to grow and we are now looking for an Application Specialist for their Healthcare Division (Health & Medical Equipment - HME). In this role you will be the responsible application specialist in the Nordics focusing on Ultrasound equipment. The office is in Kista you will be traveling regularly in the Nordics to meet customers.
Role & Responsibilities:
As our Application Specialist you will demonstrate the functionality and features of Samsung Ultrasound solutions to new and existing users train users customize systems and advise customers on how they can benefit from new product features. Your focus is to increase awareness drive preference and accelerate clinical adoption whilst developing and optimizing the customer relationship in order to ensure long-term business growth in the region.
We are fast growing in Health & Medical Equipment to contribute to this growth we are bringing in an Application Specialist responsible for our excellent products in the Nordics. With a strong focus on our Ultrasound products.
In this role you will be expected to demonstrate our ultrasound products to sonographers and doctors. Working closely with our Key Account Manager our distributor and customers. To do that we expect that a big part of your time will be spent meeting customers where they are.
Your responsibilities include:
- Providing technical and clinical leadership during the pre-sales process by demonstrating the full range of Ultrasound products including product capabilities and benefits to customers and prospects to drive revenue within the region.
- Serving as a subject matter expert and clinical liaison to the sales organization to strengthen the clinical capabilities of the team and customer relationships while also driving business opportunities forward.
- Supporting trade shows conferences symposia workshops etcetera by performing product presentations and demonstrations
- Building strong and lasting business relationships with all key opinion leaders and other influential stakeholders.
- Regular contact with users to ensure the product/system settings are at the highest level of performance
- Continuous monitoring of the competition trends and market landscape and developing strategies to improve sales and increase market share
Skills & Qualifications:
We are looking for someone that has:
- Several years of experience working with Ultrasound products
- Commercial acumen preferably with experience in Sales & Marketing
- Pre-existing network in the healthcare industry
- Ability to travel several days a week in the region (Primarily Sweden but includes Norway Denmark and Finland)
- Strong communication skills in verbal and written English
It is also a benefit if you:
- Communication skills in any of the Nordic Languages (Swedish Danish Finnish or Norwegian)
- Have a relevant degree preferably in Ultrasound BioEngineering BioMedicine Mathematics or similar.
