Job Description
TITLE: Senior Software Development Lead Engineer
DUTIES: BorgWarner PDS (USA) Inc. seeks a Senior Software Development Lead Engineer based out of our office at 3800 Automation Avenue Auburn Hills MI 48326. Note this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work from the aforementioned address and from home. Hence the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the aforementioned address. Note this position does not require travel.
Lead the Software Project work to achieve software deliveries that meet the input requirements and program expectations with agreed resources and other prerequisites. Lead software configuration management software requirements software integration software releases and development environments. Analyze sources of software requirements and identify requirements to be implemented. Coordinate software development activities within the Software Project. Maintain software schedule and release plan milestones and managing Project resources. Identify Software Project risks and make recommendations to minimize risk. Represent the Software Project in any Audits. Ensure that compliance with Software Deployment policies and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Electronics Engineering Software Engineering Computer & Information Science or Computer Engineering and 96 months of experience in job offered or related lead software engineer role. Required experience must include: Experience with the V model for software development; Experience in deploying and managing software development projects in Automotive SPICE; Experience deploying software development projects according to ISO 26262 requirements.
