Job Description
How you will make an impact as an EDA Component Librarian:
- Create complete components in Altium from a manufacturing part number or datasheet
- Manage a growing library of components symbols footprints and models
- Ensure integrity of library data and compliance with IPC and industry standards
- Establish and maintain a component life-cycle workflow that ensures all stakeholders understand the state and maturity of library components
- Support printed circuit board ECAD/MCAD designs and processes
- Provide technical support and training to electrical engineers
- A minimum of 2 years experience with Altium library management (Concord Pro / Altium 365) schematic and PCB editors
- Solid understanding of IPC-7351 land patterns and methods
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Technical working knowledge of electronic components is a plus
