Job Description

St Margarets Anglican Girls School and St Aidans Anglican Girls School are two of Queenslands leading independent schools fostering in students confidence compassion academic excellence and a lifelong love of learning. St Margarets and St Aidans Anglican Girls Schools have a shared services model for key business functions. The purpose of the shared services model is to provide the Schools with high quality business and customer service whilst ensuring continuous delivery and effective and efficient use of resources.

We are currently inviting applications for the role of:

Executive Assistant Business Services

The Executive Assistant Business Services provides high level effective and efficient secretarial administrative and organisational support to the Assistant Director - Corporate Services Assistant Director - Finance and other key leaders across the shared business services team. This role contributes to the dynamic innovative and fast paced environment of the shared Business Services team across both schools.

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Provide high-level confidential secretarial administrative and organisational support.
  • Positively and proactively contributing to the broader business services team.
  • Supporting the risk management logistics and operational requirements of the schools.
  • Contributing to key projects relevant to the business services team.
  • Developing and maintaining systems processes and procedures to ensure the effective management of workflow through the business office.

About You

The successful candidate will be an experienced skilled innovative and proactive administrator who demonstrates:

  • A high level of initiative and ability to think quickly on your feet.
  • Well-developed computer skills including advanced skills with the Microsoft Suite and the ability to learn new computer systems quickly.
  • You are naturally detail-oriented in everything you do.
  • Exceptional time management and organisational skills and the ability to remain positive whilst managing many tasks with competing priorities and deadlines.
  • The ability to work well in a team is essential as the role works with a range of staff across the schools.
  • The ability to quickly grasp an understanding of the school structures and expectations and in turn pre-empt what is required by the team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to various stakeholders across the school communities.

This is a full-time role based on-site working equally across both St Margarets Anglican Girls School in Ascot and St Aidans Anglican Girls School in Corinda.
