We have an exciting opportunity at nbn for a General Manager Fixed Wireless Engineering. This role will report to the Executive General Manager Fixed Wireless and Satellite.

A bit about your role

As the General Manager Fixed Wireless Engineering you will lead the end-to-end performance capacity planning and delivery of nbns Fixed Wireless Network that enables exceptional customer experience. This role is central to ensuring regional and rural communities across Australia experience reliable and high-speed connectivity. You will be responsible for network engineering which includes planning design standards lifecycle network performance sustainability and resilience. .

This is a purpose-driven leadership opportunity and will see you guiding the team with a world class fixed wireless 5G capable network through a period of transition bringing clarity stability and renewed energy. With a strong focus on customer experience and operational excellence you will collaborate across the business with vendors delivery partners customers and internal stakeholders to elevate the visibility and perception of Fixed Wireless. Your leadership will help shape the future of connectivity for Australias most remote areas.

You are a confident and compassionate leader with deep experience in wireless network. You bring a strong technical foundation and a collaborative mindset with the ability to influence communicate and lead with empathy. You thrive in complex environments and are comfortable navigating ambiguity always keeping the customer at the heart of your decisions. You drive innovation to ensure long term profitability and viability of networks.

Your leadership style is hands-on and people focused. You understand the importance of stability and change management especially in teams that have experienced transformation.
