Job Description
Position: QA/QC Manager-Packaging ($90k-flexible)
Location: Yoakum TX
As the QA Manager this position will oversee and collaborate with the co-packers in Yoakon TX. This position will have no direct reports.
As they work mostly with Co-packers their main duties should be more focused on the following instead:
- Collaborate and oversee Co-Packers to ensure that Specifications Quality and Food Safety are achieved according to the company expectations product guidelines and requirements
- Inspect the quality and consistency of products every batch and line samples during the production process and before shipment.
Requirements:
- 3 years of QA experience in food service/manufacturing/packaging industry
- Experience in Process Improvement Analyzing Information Strategic Planning Quality Engineering Emphasizing Excellence Pharmacology Attention to Detail Thoroughness Dealing with Complexity
- Bachelors Degree preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure
