Job Description
The Department of Mathematics at Lincoln Memorial University invites applications for a full-time Assistant Professor in Computer Science. The candidate must have earned a PhD in Computer Science or an appropriate related discipline. The primary teaching responsibilities for this position may include introductory computer science courses as well as courses on artificial intelligence network security and software engineering. The faculty member will have the primary responsibilities of teaching scholarship and service in support of the University School and Department missions. To ensure a smooth transition into our academic community the successful candidate will participate in LMUs New Faculty Academy. Additionally during their first year the new faculty member will enjoy moderated scholarship and service expectations while receiving guidance and support from a faculty mentor assigned by the department.

Required Qualifications
earned Ph.D. in Computer Science or appropriate related discipline; *educational preparation in accordance with requirements of the University and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools; and *evidence of potential for effective teaching and scholarly activity.

Preferred Qualifications
college-level teaching experience
