Veterinary Technician - Oncology
Full-time: Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm No Weekends
Start date: End of August 2025

PetCure Oncology one of the most exciting and innovative veterinary oncology providers in the country is seeking unique highly energized compassionate Veterinary Technicians for a full-time role at our new location in San Antonio TX.

About You
The ideal candidate needs to be highly skilled in administering and monitoring anesthesia. This position will involve supporting patients throughout the radiation oncology service. Additional responsibilities include providing compassionate patient care anesthesia induction and monitoring excellent client care and communication and involvement in the departments growth.
Ideal Candidate:
- 2 years of veterinary experience required. Specialty experience is a plus preferably in Oncology.
- Experience in managing critical patients preferred.
- Must have a strong background in administering and monitoring anesthesia.
- Ability to multi-task and adjust and learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Energetic team player with excellent communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills and can learn and assimilate quickly to new computer applications high level of technology as a cloud-based company.
- Demonstrates proficiency in technical skills while being open to learning from new experiences.
- Provide input and assist with all aspects of patient care
- Assist with promoting PetCure Oncology and SRS through education and participation in community and veterinary events
- Other duties as needed
Education:
- Preferred: Formal Veterinary Technology education or Applied Science degree preferred
- High school or equivalent
