Gateway Technical College seeks a dynamic people-centered professional to serve as theRecruitment Coordinatorfor the SC Johnson STEM Scholars Pathway Program. This high-impact role is equal parts relationship-builder systems creator communicator and community advocate ensuring that students schools and stakeholders are aware of and energized by this unique scholarship opportunity.
You will serve as the connective tissue between Gateway the Racine Unified School District (RUSD) four-year partner colleges and the broader community coordinating outreach aligning recruitment and marketing efforts across internal teams and stewarding relationships to ensure that enrollment targets are met or exceeded solidifying the success of the program.
In addition to being a collaborative and approachable leader the successful Recruitment Coordinator will also have an aptitude for building and maintaining systems that enable communication transparency and data tracking.

This position reports directly to the CEO/President.Key Responsibilities
Relationship Management & Communication
Cultivate maintain and coordinate relationships with external partners at the Racine Unified School District Racine-area private/parochial high schools local homeschool associations and four-year college transfer institutions. Align regularly to ensure accountability between institutions and share updates.
Act as the central point of contact for all external conversations related to the SCJ STEM Scholars Pathway Program staying informed and ensuring alignment across levels from school counselors to district leadership to Gateways President.
Represent the program at school events community meetings and civic gatherings presenting to small groups and large audiences with equal ease and impact.
Serve as an ambassador of the program to parents teachers community partners and donors as well as internally across Gateway departments and functions.
Recruitment & Outreach
In partnership with the Admission Office develop strong relationships with students and their families helping them understand program requirements and guiding them through the application and enrollment process.
Creatively identify and engage with community groups and other potential feeder programs to raise awareness about and applications to the SC Johnson STEM Scholars Pathway Program.
Coordinate targeted marketing campaigns in partnership with high school faculty and counselors as well as youth-serving organizations (e.g. Girl Scouts YMCA RAMAC apprenticeships).
Collaborate with Gateways marketing and admission teams to implement layered outreach strategies including presentations school visits family engagement events and more.
Internal Collaboration
Work cross-functionally with Gateway staff including admissions advising pre-college programs Deans and the Foundation to ensure a unified student-centered recruitment experience.
Leverage internal expertise systems (new and existing) and data management tools to track student engagement and applications.
Participate in regular team meetings and planning efforts related to SCJ STEM Scholars recruitment and program success.
Maintain clear and open lines of communication and transparent information channels about all aspects of the program.
Donor Stewardship
In collaboration with the Gateway Foundation prepare regular updates to SC Johnson on outreach efforts student recruitment and program impact.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in education marketing communication counseling/student services STEM or a related field
3 years of experience in student recruitment community outreach admissions or related work
Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences from high school students to civic leaders
Comfort speaking in public and facilitating group discussions
Relationship-driven organized and collaborative
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with technical college systems high school partnerships or STEM-related programming
Knowledge of the Racine Unified School District and/or Gateways regional footprint
Experience working with first-generation low-income or underrepresented students
Spanish fluency
