Job Description

Duxbury Middle School is seeking exceptional candidates for the position ofSTEM Teacher (.2 FTE) for the 2025-2026 school year.

Position Requirements:

  • Current certification from Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education with SEI Endorsementin one of the following: Digital Literacy/ Computer Science (grades 5-12) Mathematics (grades 5-8) Science (grades 5-8) Technology/ Engineering (grades 5-12)
  • Bachelors Degree or higher from accredited college or university
  • Demonstrate the ability to model deliver and craft rich student-centered learning experiences around Computer Science Coding and Robotics
  • Work in partnership with teachers and staff modeling consistent effective teaching with technology engagement lesson plan design use of technology STEAM and online tools.
  • Understand and be able to design develop assess and manage STEAM learning experiences.
  • Classroom management skills that support students social-emotional learning
  • Experience meeting the needs of diverse learners
  • Ability to plan and implement lessons that are aligned with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks
  • Citizenship residency or work visa required
