Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has exciting opportunities for Flightline Operations Managers (Level K) to support the 737 Field Operations team in Seattle Washington.
This position will require the candidate to use their business leadership and people skills to inspire a safe work environment and exceptional performance to develop and execute business plans policies and procedures. Successful candidates must be able to develop and maintain relationships with customers stakeholders cross-functional support and direct reports.
Position Responsibilities:
- Ensures that aircraft are completed and pass certification for airworthiness by overseeing final component installation systems operation functional testing modification maintenance troubleshooting repair preflights/postflight checks release for flight and preparation for delivery.
- Interfaces with customers flight crew engineering suppliers and leadership to meet product requirements and ensure customer acceptance.
- Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.
- Manages develops and motivates employees.
- Actively promotes the growth and development of employees and fosters an environment of respect and inclusion.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3 years of experience in an Aerospace Fabrication or Manufacturing environment.
- 3 years of experience working in a cross functional environment.
- 1 years of experience in a formal or informal leadership position.
- Possess an FAA Airframe and Power Plant License OR the aircraft years and experience necessary to obtain an FAA Repairmans certificate.
- Ability to work variable shifts including weekends and overnights as needed.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 3 years of flightline operations experience.
- 3 years of functional test knowledge.
- 3 years of experience working with live customers.
- 3 years of experience with any of the following:Quality assurance troubleshooting capabilities functional test knowledge release ticket experience manufacturing and/or structures.
- Proficiency using CMES.
