Primary Inclusion Support Assistant Richmond September 2025 Start

Location: Richmond South West London
Contract: September 2025 July 2026 (Term-Time Only)
Pay: 444.00 per week (PAYE)
Interviews: June/July 2025

Are you a graduate passionate about inclusive education and keen to support primary-aged pupils with diverse learning needs

A friendly primary school in Richmond is seeking a Primary Inclusion Support Assistant to help children across EYFS to Year 3 who have identified SEND or social emotional and behavioural needs. This role is perfect for graduates aiming to pursue careers in primary teaching educational psychology or speech and language therapy.

As a Primary Inclusion Support Assistant you will deliver 1:1 and small group support assist with behaviour management plans and help ensure children are engaged and confident learners.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils with additional needs in the classroom
  • Running targeted intervention sessions in literacy and numeracy
  • Supporting social skills development and positive behaviour
  • Liaising with parents and external professionals

Were looking for:

  • A 2:1 or above in Psychology Education or a related field
  • A warm patient and adaptable approach
  • Commitment to inclusion and positive relationships
  • Availability for the full school year

This Primary Inclusion Support Assistant role in Richmond provides an excellent foundation for graduates wanting hands-on SEND experience in a nurturing environment.

Please note: This role is only open to applicants with a UK undergraduate degree. We cannot consider overseas degrees even with a UK Masters. Sponsorship is not available so applicants must have UK citizenship or the right to work via settled status.
