Job Description
Radiology/CT Scan Permanent Role
- Location: McKinney TX 75071
- Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM 07:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 12 per week
- Compensation: Based on experience
- Perform high-quality multimodality imaging procedures as per protocol.
- Explain procedures and help patients feel at ease.
- Ensure safety accuracy and compliance with protocols and standards.
- Provide professional and courteous care for all age groups (newborn to geriatric).
- Handle emergencies effectively and provide first aid when needed.
- Maintain a clean safe work environment and manage inventory.
- Communicate with patients using AIDET to ensure satisfaction and clarity.
- Collaborate with engineering/physics teams for equipment maintenance.
- Independent and reliable with minimal oversight needed.
- Professional under stress with a calm helpful demeanor.
- Strong patient interaction skills and focus on satisfaction.
- Adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Experience: Less than 1 year of experience required.
- Licenses/Certifications (required):
- BLS (within 30 days of hire)
- MRT license from the Texas (unless role is MRI or Ultrasound)
- Certified in two imaging modalities (50% time spent in 2nd modality). Accepted certifications include:
- ARRT (CT MR M R S N VI BS BD CI CV)
- RDMS (AB BR FE OB PS)
- RVT
- CNMT
- ARMRIT
