Job Description
Location: Fort Worth TX 76104
Shift: 8-hr Day 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
- Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.
- Ensure appropriate patient positioning radiation safety and quality imaging.
- Assist physicians with minimally invasive image-guided procedures including vascular access angiography embolization and more.
- Prepare and maintain interventional suite and equipment before during and after procedures.
- Monitor and document patient condition during procedures and provide post-procedure care instructions.
- Maintain accurate patient records radiographic logs and image archives.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with radiologists nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care.
Required Certifications/Licensure:
- ARRT-R: Radiography certification required.
- Must obtain one of the following within two years of hire:
- ARRT-CI: Cardiac Interventional Radiography
- ARRT-CV: Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography
- ARRT-VI: Interventional Radiography
- Texas Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
