Job Description
RN-Float/Resource Pool Contract Role
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care following established nursing protocols.
- Float to various units as needed to support patient care.
- Assess patient needs implement appropriate care plans and document care accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
- Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions.
- Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and procedures.
- Ensure patient safety including proper use of lifting equipment and mobility aids.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills prioritizing tasks and delegating effectively.
- May assume charge nurse duties when required.
Qualifications:
- Active NY RN License (Required).
- Coronary Care experience. Preferred
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Previous hospital RN experience is preferred.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS and PALS certifications. Preferred
- Strong problem-solving and leadership skills in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent interpersonal organizational and communication skills (written & verbal).

- Locals accepted-the local pay rate will apply for candidates residing within 60 miles.
- Travelers should have completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment.
