Job Description

Project description:
In the areas of responsibility:
RAN (Radio Access Network-2G 4G 5G) - System Introduction
RAN Incident/Problem/Configuration/Change-Management (Second level)
Introduction of processes/systems into regular operation 
Continuous development of systems and services throughout the entire lifecycle
Integration/Cooperation with international teams
Fault Analysis and corrections incl. technical support.
Development of concepts/specifications create and maintain system documentation
Performance analysis and network tunings
KPI-based quality management

Tasks description:
Operation of Ericsson Nokia and Huawei RAN technologies
Support for system testing of mobile network solutions
Handling tasks throughout the entire system development lifecycle
Performing error analysis and implementing fixes
Configuring and troubleshooting mobile network base stations
Preparing technical documentation
Developing scripts using HSL3 (Huawei) and/or AMOS (Ericsson)
Providing technical support to field service teams and operations
Active participation in projects

Tools and platforms used:
MAE/MML/HSL-3 (Huawei)
ENM/AMOS (Ericsson)
Manta Ray/CM-Editor/CM-Operations Manager (Nokia)
Linux
Wireshark


Qualifications :

Skill requirements:
You have completed a degree in Telecommunications Engineering or a comparable qualification and bring at least 3 years of professional experience in this field. You also have:
Experience in mobile network operations (Second or Third Level Incident Management)
Familiarity with RAN technologies from Huawei and/or Ericssonand/or Nokia
Solid understanding of radio frequency principles such as Passive Intermodulation (PIM) VSWR MIMO etc.
Knowledge of LTE-M and Narrowband IoT technologies
Proficiency in Linux
Understanding of network signaling interfaces (e.g. UU S1 X2 NG)
Experience with tracing and analysis tools (e.g. Wireshark)
Active contributor to technical projects in radio access networks including LTE-M and Narrowband IoT deployments
Proficiency in spoken and written English with a willingness to learn German
Willingness to work night shifts occasionally
