Purpose of position:
Were looking for a Mechanical Engineer who will lead the development of new products take responsibility for their technical solutions and act as Product Owner. Are you ready to drive impactful change collaborate globally and shape the future of sustainable energy
Responsibilities
- New Product Development Propose and enforce the technical solution from concept phase to serial production ensuring that the product fulfils technical legal and quality requirements
- Post-NPD support (warranty issues)
- Cost-competitiveness standardization & modularization improvements
- Cross-functional collaboration (e.g. with Design Engineering Simulation Team Component Experts Sourcing Prototype Department Test Laboratory etc.)
- Close collaboration with customers counterparts to translate their requirements into the technical solution of the product
- NPD project management (when required)
Our Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in Product Development and its tools (e.g. DFMEA Design Review Risk Assessment etc.)
- Experience with railway standards and/or cooling systems is an advantage
- Fluent in English proactive and ready to make a global impact
- Awareness of authorship and responsibility for technical solutions
