Qantas Network Planning is responsible for designing and managing the airlines flight network to meet customer demand support operational requirements and deliver commercial results. The team works across the business to analyse market trends assess performance and implement schedule changes that align with Qantas strategic goals. Whether adjusting existing routes or planning new opportunities Network Planning plays a critical role in shaping how and where Qantas operates.
As a Schedule Planner - Schedule Variations you will develop and implement changes to the Qantas flight schedule to optimise customer demand resourcing and operational constraints. Working closely with commercial and operational teams youll ensure schedules are feasible commercially sound and aligned with strategic goals. Key responsibilities include analysing scheduling scenarios securing airport slots attending industry conferences publishing accurate schedules and coordinating codeshare services.
Youll have
- Relevant tertiary qualification in business commerce or a related field (preferred)
- Strong problem-solving analytical and numerical skills
- Effective communicator with ability to influence diverse stakeholders
- Experience in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
- Proficiency in schedule planning tools and systems (e.g. Airvision Schedule and Slot Manager)
