Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Transactional Services the Transactional Services Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of Accounts Officers across all Healthcare Australia (HCA) divisions. 

This role works collaboratively with a range of stakeholders across the HCA Group to ensure transactional services are delivered to the highest standard. Initially focused on Accounts Receivable the position will expand over time to also include Accounts Payable responsibilities within its remit.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead and manage the Accounts Receivable team to ensure efficient and accurate operations.
  • In time assume leadership of the Accounts Payable function overseeing day-to-day processing and team performance.
  • Ensure the timely and accurate processing of invoices maintaining a high standard of service delivery.
  • Maintain system integrity through effective account setup data accuracy and regular maintenance.
  • Ensure all supplier payments are processed in a timely manner aligned with agreed payment terms.
  • Validate suppliers through third-party checks to ensure compliance with legislative and organisational requirements mitigating risk.
  • Work collaboratively with Shared Services leaders and team members to drive alignment and process efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement by developing and refining processes that enhance service delivery and reduce risk.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Head of Transactional Services.

Lets talk about you!

To be considered for this role you will have 35 years experience in an accounts or finance role with proven experience managing a team or demonstrated readiness to step into a leadership position. Relevant qualifications preferably finance or business disciplines and/or demonstrated competency through relevant experience.

Naturally you will be highly organised have a high level of attention to detail and high level of communications skills both written and verbal.
