Job Description
Support manufacturing and operations leadership by analyzing manufacturing processes and production line designs and supporting the implementation of improvements. Work with data collection tools (forms) database to generate graphs for management decisions. Developing tools and supporting engineering in correct routing and cost time estimates at the time of quotation. Reviewing existing routing times to identify variances and correct/improved planned routing times.
- Implementation of design improvements (co-ordination and execution)
- Takt time analysis and routing time updates
- Development of tools to support cost and time estimation
- Reporting and KPI management
- 5S auditing
- Process confirmation on standards implemented
Qualifications :
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated from Computer Engineering technologist diploma or equivalent
- Computer literate & experience with MS Office Suite (Access Excel PowerBI PowerPoint etc.)
- Experience utilizing Data Base Systems
- Lean manufacturing mindset
- Comfortable in a manufacturing environment
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Excellent organizational communication and problem solving skills
- Capable of working with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude & must be able to work in a cooperative team environment
