About the role:

This Senior Product Manager is responsible for developing and driving key marketing and business objectives for Boston Scientifics Global Electrophysiology (EP) Product Portfolio with a focus on upstream marketing and software development related to cardiac mapping and pulsed field ablation. The candidate oversees market research monitors competitive activity and identifies customer needs working closely with engineering and clinical teams to develop differentiated solutions for patients and physicians. This person is an experienced marketer of highly technical and clinical products and demonstrates strengths in customer insights product development and business acumen.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Determines clear and specific priorities for the development of new cardiac mapping software and software enhancements for pulsed field ablation by defining user needs and working with other internal functional groups.
  • Leads voice-of-customer (VOC) and voice-of-business (VOB) activities for current and proposed investments. Formulates recommendations based on data collected and advocates for customer needs while collaborating on product inputs and clinical benchmarks.
  • Constructively gathers input and challenges assumptions with Global counterparts to refine product decisions. Makes recommendations on product launch cadence leveraging a broad organizational technical capability and competitive perspective.
  • Positively represents the company by visiting accounts and users to solicit feedback on company products and services.
  • Consolidates and disseminates a deep understanding of the competitive global EP landscape. Contribute to understanding key industry dynamics in formulating technology clinical and commercial strategies. Supports regional training of marketing and sales teams.
  • Develop and leverage marketing insights to define marketing claims and value propositions.
  • Network with colleagues in other divisions and cross-functional departments to align strategies and opportunities.
  • Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality. Understand and comply with all regulations governing the quality systems.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Engineering Science Healthcare/Biomedical fields.
  • 5 years of professional experience in the medical device industry especially cardiovascular or electrophysiology fields.
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence key stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 20% in support of tradeshows internal meetings and customer programs as required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines and manage all aspects of product development with a high degree of attention to detail.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 3 years in research engineering or product development roles.
  • Advanced degrees including M.S PhD or MBA.
  • Experience with market and revenue modeling.
  • Experience working globally across multiple countries/regions.
  • Proven track record of Physician and KOL engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Work Mode:
At Boston Scientific we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week.

The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) see --will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role. Compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training pertinent education including licensure and certifications among other relevant business or organizational needs. At BSC it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the anticipated salary range listed above.

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly) non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g. any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).

Compensation for exempt non-sales roles may also include variable compensation i.e. annual bonus target and long-term incentives (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
