- Support high quality program planning; incorporating the Ys values
- Maintain safety and supervision in accordance with provincial licensing requirements and standards
- Operate the center as per the Ys child behavior management guidelines
- Build healthy relationships with children parents teachers colleagues and external stakeholders
- Actively interact with children ages 6-12 as a play partner and homework helper
- Support implementation of play based educational programming including interactive play literacy mathematics science building drama games team building daily physical activity and sports
- Promotes philanthropy and volunteerism through the YMCA
