Manufacturing Receiving Associate
$18-$20 per hour Day Shift
Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Clerk to join our team. If you have previous experience in warehouse operations particularly in receiving inspecting and tracking inventory wed love to hear from you. This role requires someone comfortable with using an ERP system for inventory management and who takes pride in ensuring the accurate and timely receipt of goods.
Responsibilities:
Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy. Report any discrepancies to the appropriate team.
Accurately input received inventory into the ERP system ensuring product details like quantities codes and lot numbers are recorded correctly.
Maintain up-to-date records of received items track inventory levels in real-time and report damages or shortages.
Perform visual and physical inspections of received goods to ensure they meet quality standards. Handle and report any damaged or defective products.
Properly label store and organize products in the warehouse for easy access.
Work closely with the purchasing and accounting teams to resolve any shipment or inventory discrepancies.
Follow all safety protocols and keep the work environment clean and organized.
Participate in cycle counts and inventory audits as needed to ensure inventory accuracy.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in warehouse operations or receiving is highly preferred. Proficiency with ERP systems is required.
Accuracy in verifying shipments and entering data into the ERP system is a must.
Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs. and stand bend and walk for extended periods.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and other departments.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Forklift certification
High school diploma or equivalent
