The role of Manager Network Development provides strategic leadership and oversight for network management and contracting. Develops and implements network strategies manage provider contracts and negotiations leads dispute resolution processes and collaborates with key stakeholders to drive network growth and ensure high-quality provider relationships.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee key Network Management contracting activities including negotiating reimbursement rates and contract terms and conditions.
- Control the development and expansion of the company's provider network by evaluating potential network providers negotiating contracts and establishing relationships with healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive and high- quality network.
- Contribute to optimizing the network's performance and effectiveness by analyzing network data utilization patterns and market trends to identify opportunities for network enhancements cost savings and improved access to care.
- Conduct market analysis assess competitive landscapes and make recommendations for network expansion strategies.
- Communicate findings to leadership identifying opportunities for improvement and cost containment.
- Manage operational aspects of the team subsequently implementing workforce and succession plans to meet business goals and objectives.
- Guide management for individual performance evaluations aimed to provide critical feedback for skills development and depth of work area experience.
- Negotiates executes conducts high level review and analysis dispute resolution and/or settlement negotiations of contracts with larger and more complex market/regional/national based group/system providers in accordance with company standards to maintain and enhance provider networks while meeting and exceeding accessibility quality and financial goals and cost initiatives.
- Recruits providers as needed to ensure attainment of network expansion and adequacy targets.
- Collaborates cross-functionally to manage provider compensation and pricing development activities submission of contractual information and the review and analysis of reports as part of negotiation and reimbursement modeling activities.
- Responsible for identifying and managing cost issues and initiating appropriate cost saving initiatives.
- Lead a team of contract specialists responsible for successful network growth and development
- Provides network development maintenance and refinement activities and strategies in support of cross-market network management unit.
- Assists with the design development management and or implementation of strategic network configurations and integration activities.
- May optimize interaction with assigned providers and internal business partners to manage relationships to ensure provider needs are met.
- Perform other duties as required
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years professional work experience in provider network management. Which includes contracting with providers provider groups and ancillary providers.
- Texas experience preferred
- A minimum of 3 years in management leading a team
- Experience in Google Products
- Minimal travel is required
- Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education
- Bachelors degree preferred or a combination of professional work experience and education.
