The UAF Center for Teaching and Learning seeks an Instructional Designer to join our creative dynamic and highly collaborative team. As a Course and Program Manager you will work closely with UAF instructors to develop high-quality interactive online courses across various disciplines.
In this role you will collaborate with faculty and department chairs to customize online course delivery fostering creativity and finding solutions to online education challenges. Youll manage projects supervise instructional design staff and ensure high-quality online learning experiences through consultation and support. Responsibilities include conducting outreach to build strong institutional relationships staying current with educational technologies and maintaining comprehensive project records.

Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree in a related field and five years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience preferably in a leadership or supervisory position within a higher education institutional context. Experience teaching at the post-secondary level preferably some online.
Position Details:
This position is located on the UAF campus in Fairbanks and flexible on-site/hybrid work arrangements may be considered in accordance with UA regulations. This is a full-time exempt staff position complete with both a competitive salary andfull employee benefits package. UA provides a generous compensation package that includes retirement options annual leave 12 paid holidays per year tuition waivers for employees and family members and affordable medical dental and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on theUA Staff Salary Schedule Grade 81 based on education and experience.
