TERM Early Childhood Educator

Under the direction of the Principal the Early Childhood Educator:

partners with the classroom teachers(s) to plan and implement a full day early learning program;

collaborates in the design of high quality and effective play-based programs and environments;
-
supports enhanced physical cognitive emotional and social development within the context of a Catholic learning environment as part of the Early Learning program team.
Required Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:

an Early Childhood Education diploma or degree;
-
registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Education;
-
recent experience with kindergarten age children preferred;
-
current First Aid and CPR certification.
In addition the following will be considered an asset:
-
minimum two years experience
-
bilingualism
-
experience working in a school setting
Status: To be considered you must be available to work based on the start and end date of the term assignment.
Salary: Hourly wage between $25.03 to $26.79 plus 4% in lieu of vacation pay
