You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are recruiting additionalLearning SupportAssistantstojoin our new state of the art academy in Frindsbury Strood.The successful candidates will be required to work with students across the Academy and on a 1:1 basis to ensure that students needs do not become a barrier to learning and making progress.
Our Learning Support Assistants will be required to understand individual students needs and work with subject teachers so that they can develop learning programmes appropriate to the needs of those students. Support will encompass both in class and through targeted interventions which may also involve small group work.
Experience of working with primary or secondary aged children with the ability to raise aspirations to ensure the best possible outcomes will be beneficial as will the ability to motivate children have a passion to make a positive outcome for the children and have high expectations of childrens emotional social and mental health development. Excellent interpersonal skills together with good knowledge of ICT would be essential.
This role is initially offered as a fixed term contract working on a 1:1 basis with students with a high level of SEND.
