Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and skilled PeopleSoft Administrator to join our managed services team. In this role you will be responsible for the administration support and maintenance of PeopleSoft 9.2 applications ensuring high availability and optimal performance. The ideal candidate is a fast learner self-starter and comfortable operating in dynamic client-facing environments.
Tasks
- Perform installation upgrade patching and maintenance of PeopleSoft applications (version 9.2).
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PeopleSoft infrastructure and tools.
- Provide production support and incident resolution in a managed services environment.
- Document system configurations procedures and issue resolutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to gather information and resolve issues.
- Utilize PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) for updates and patch management.
- Manage SSL/TLS site certificates including creation and renewal using OpenSSL.
- Work with SSH and manage SSH keys for secure server communication.
- Adhere to ITIL-based processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in PeopleSoft Administration: installation upgrades patching and support.
- Strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture and tools.
- Hands-on experience in technical troubleshooting and system diagnostics.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and document work effectively.
- Experience providing support in a managed services and production support environment.
- Process-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
