Overview:
The Senior Salesforce Consultant is responsible for the architecture technical strategy and design of next-generation Salesforce solutions. This role supports sales and pre-sales teams in defining solutions aligned with the customers business and technical requirements and works closely with delivery teams during the build phase. Acting as the technical single point of contact the consultant drives assigned design and build resources to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction.
The consultant builds trusted relationships with customer peers gathers and translates business and technical requirements into architecture and strategy evaluates consulting effort and delivers accordingly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in the early stages of the sales process with key stakeholders to identify how Salesforce can address business challenges
- Monitor and manage technical client relationships and the status of ongoing engagements.
- Act as a trusted advisor and contribute to customer digital transformation initiatives
- Develop project deployment strategies for consulting delivery activities and produce associated effort estimates
- Recognise and assess client key business drivers and challenges
- Articulate service strategy (refine refresh change optimise) within the relevant digital domain
- Partner with customers to jointly develop architecture matching requirements and constraints
- Produce customised architecture standards
- Produce complex design documents
- Contribute to sales efforts supporting the positioning of new complex solutions and practising active consulting upselling
- Maintain a high degree of technical knowledge of relevant products services and solution sets
- Contribute to knowledge management through documentation presentations participation in professional communities and mentoring

- Multi-Cloud mastery (deep knowledge of most/all of the following):
- Sales Cloud lead/opportunity management forecasting sales automation
- Service Cloud (Voice) case management omnichannel support knowledge base CTI integrations
- Marketing Cloud journey builder email studio personalisation integration with CDPs
- Experience Cloud portals communities
- Commerce Cloud CPQ Field Service
- Salesforce Platform Development: Apex Visualforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) Flows Process Builder automation best practices
Integration and Data:
- Salesforce APIs (REST/SOAP)
- Experience with middleware (MuleSoft Boomi)
- Data modelling ETL tools bulk data management (e.g. Data Loader Shield)
CRM and Consulting Skills:
- CRM business process knowledge: sales funnels service SLAs customer segmentation
- Ability to lead discovery workshops document requirements and create solution blueprints
- Change management and user adoption strategies
