Job Description

TPF Recruitment are working with a leading firm of chartered accountants based in Maidstone who are looking to recruit a Private Client Tax Manager into their growing team. This is a brilliant opportunity to join one of the most reputable and well-established practices in the South East known for their high standards supportive culture and impressive client base.

About the role:
The firm advises a broad range of clients across the South East primarily high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) non-domiciled individuals business owners and some trusts. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
  • Providing tax planning and advisory services including capital gains tax inheritance tax
  • Reviewing and completing more complex personal tax returns
  • Managing HMRC enquiries and responding to both compliance and advisory correspondence
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members with both technical development and day-to-day queries
  • Working closely with the Tax Director to drive the continued growth and success of the department


Requirements

  • Ideally CTA qualified or possibly ATT ACA or ACCA you ll have built your personal tax career within an accountancy practice or a specialist tax firm.
  • Whether you ve trained in a Top 10 Top 50 or a larger regional independent firm your experience will likely have focused on personal tax with a mix of both compliance and tax planning work.

You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
