Job Description

Position Summary:

  • The Business Systems Analyst II is responsible for leading and facilitating project meetings with the core leadership team to gather comprehensive business requirements and translate them into automated solutions. This includes the technical design documentation and implementation of workflows.
  • Key duties involve advising and assisting customers in the operation and administration of collection system applications as well as working closely with the facility host support team. The analyst collaborates with customers to enhance work methodologies and tools applying a customer-focused technically sound approach to all project phasesrequirements gathering analysis design development testing documentation and implementation.
  • This role ensures the delivery of high-quality cost-effective solutions to users at all levels and serves as the technical liaison for implementing and maintaining workflow solutions. The analyst is also responsible for supporting the teams business goals and ensuring continuous improvement in system performance and user experience.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead discussions with operations teams to clarify system workflow and process requirements.

  • Gather document and analyze comprehensive business requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Assist customers in understanding system functionality and optimizing their use of assigned applications for project-specific tasks.

  • Analyze customer workflows and business processes and assist in reengineering efforts for improved operational efficiency.

  • Create implement and maintain automated workflows aligned with business objectives.

  • Collaborate with internal IT project teams and support staff to ensure smooth implementation and system integration.

  • Serve as a technical liaison maintaining a strong customer service focus while delivering scalable cost-effective solutions.

  • Monitor and support ongoing workflow performance and recommend improvements as needed.

  • Apply healthcare domain knowledge (if applicable) to enhance relevance and effectiveness of technical solutions.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.

  • Strong workflow creation and implementation skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze design and implement automated solutions.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Experience with system integration and workflow management tools.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Healthcare provider experience is a strong plus (e.g. working in or supporting a hospital clinic or healthcare system).
