This role is based in London Victoria and offers hybrid working with majority of the working week in the office. We recommend discussing arrangements with the hiring manager to find the best fit for both you and the role.
The Role:
Following the successful implementation of new financial planning and reporting tools we are undergoing a transformation of our performance capabilities and processes with the ambition to significantly enhance the value the Finance teams offer to the business. This role will play a fundamental part in the delivery of the monthly business performance for the Group creating value added insight on both financial and operational performance.
Were seeking experienced individuals to drive improvements and efficiencies in our monthly reporting and streamline the reporting process by optimising system capabilities.
This role will report to the Director of Performance Management and focus on the preparation of Group financial and operational information that is included within the Group Board pack. You will be required to work closely with multiple teams including Group Finance Commercial Finance and Treasury to ensure that key messages are fed into the Group Board pack and that parties are aligned on key monthly deliverables.
To be successful in the role youll be someone who forms effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders across the business is self-motivated driven and has a passion for improving and enhancing processes. Strong communication and analytical skills are a must.

The Team:
This role will report to the Head of Performance Management in the Group Finance team and work closely with multiple teams across the business including Group Finance Commercial Finance and Treasury.
What you will be responsible for:
Management information reporting
Together with the Director of Performance Management owners of the monthly reporting for the Group playing a critical role in the messaging of performance against our strategic objectives to the senior leadership team.
Work closely with the Group Finance Commercial Finance and Treasury teams to ensure reported data is accurate movements and variances are clearly understood and articulated and information included is relevant.
Work collaboratively with the Commercial Finance analysts and their respective teams to develop a deep understanding of the key drivers of performance both financial and operational internal and external and then deliver reporting which clearly conveys this performance in order to influence decision-making.
Ensure our month end reporting requirements are delivered in line with the reporting deadlines.
Proactively take the lead in identifying opportunities to further enhance the process to drive greater efficiency and effectiveness through optimising system capabilities
External reporting
Key contributor to the preparation of financial and operational statistics included within half-year and year-end external reporting.
Assist with the production of external disclosures and analysis and manage audit queries where relevant.
Systems
Support optimisation activities to ensure that their full potential is realised.
With support from the in-house systems specialist maintain the automated suite of reports and build additional analysis as required.
Support reporting governance and feedback loop where system defects identified.
Continuously challenge the status quo and use systems expertise to enhance all processes reporting analysis and insights.
Your skills experience and qualifications:
Essential criteria
Ability to demonstrate a strong track record in accurate and timely month end performance reporting.
Experience of analysing information from a variety of sources to monitor and track performance and to predict trends.
Proven ability to work with financial planning and reporting tools ideally OneStream and Power BI.
Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA CIMA ACCA).
Strong Excel skills with the ability to present information in a way thats clear and understandable to your audience.
