The Lead Strategic Analyst will work across various parts of the business to maximise value from projects supporting Yolos commercial objectives across our different iGaming brands. They will be validating and proposing data driven strategies to support Yolos commercial objectives across our different iGaming brands
Your day-to-day
- Partnering with key stakeholders to maximise value and improve decision making across marketing strategy and product teams.
- Lead and define greenfield data & analytics projects from inception to delivery aligning with business objectives across marketing and commercial domains;
- Design and brief in front-to-back analytics architecture including data collection transformation modeling and visualisation;
- Act as a strategic partner to senior stakeholders; influence decisions through compelling data storytelling;
- Lead the end-to-end analytics roadmap for user acquisition & retention player engagement and commercial KPIs;
- Collaborate with experimentation & innovation teams to identify opportunities hypothesise and support a culture of evidence-based decision-making;
- Develop data integrations and reporting layers to aggregate different data sources and deliver self service reporting / insights;
- Deliver insights on customer behavior conversion funnels LTV and campaign effectiveness we use Google Analytics FullStory & AWS experience with these tools is preferred but experience with alternative tools is okay too;
- Integrate and analyse data from marketing platforms (e.g. paid search affiliates) to support our marketing teams to optimise their channel and campaign strategy;
- Champion best practices for analytics experimentation and data literacy across commercial and marketing teams.
Your background and mindset
- Minimum 3 years of experience in iGaming sports betting or online casino environments;
- Deep understanding of industry-specific user behavior acquisition channels and regulatory considerations;
- Proven experience delivering greenfield analytics projects in a dynamic data-driven organisation;
- Strong understanding of analytics infrastructure data pipelines and measurement frameworks;
- Demonstrated ability to define strategy and influence stakeholders across technical and non-technical functions;
- Expert in data storytelling with the ability to translate complex data into clear compelling narratives and build rapport with stakeholders across different disciplines;
- Experience supporting or working directly with experimentation teams and A/B testing processes
- Strong track record in commercial analytics and marketing performance analysis;
- Solid proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis;
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics FullStory or similar user behavior analytics platforms;
- Hands-on experience working with digital marketing platforms such as Google Ads affiliate networks and performance tracking tools;
- Excellent written and verbal English.
