The team is looking for a motivated Software Development Engineer (SDE) with a proven track record of building full stack applications and services at scale. Youll be responsible for owning designing and delivering highly scalable systems. Were a fast-growing team with lots of opportunities for advancement. No chance of getting bored!

* Design develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs that power sales productivity tools
* Build robust integrations with internal systems across the Ads ecosystem
* Implement complex business logic for sales workflows including deal management incentives calculation and account prioritization
* Drive technical improvements in system architecture performance and reliability
* Write high-quality well-tested code following engineering best practices
* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
* Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while maintaining system stability
* Collaborate with Product Managers and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
* Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
* Monitor and optimize system performance identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks
* Support and mentor junior engineers in their technical growth
* Participate in the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment and maintenance

* Designing and implementing scalable microservices that power our sales tools using modern tech stack and best practices
* Collaborating with Product Managers to refine technical requirements and propose solutions for new features

* Mentoring junior engineers and providing technical guidance on architecture decisions
* Participating in technical design discussions to solve complex problems around data consistency performance and scale
* Reviewing and addressing any urgent operational issues

- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
