Position Summary
The Value Creation Team at Vista Equity Partners is seeking a highly motivated and analytically driven Consultant to join our Analytics function. This role plays a critical part in advancing data-driven decision making across Vista and its portfolio companies.
The Analytics team is responsible for the collection reporting and analysis of portfolio company data working with a variety of stakeholders from across the Vista ecosystem to drive value creation through insight generation.
This role is based in Austin TX and is for an immediate start.
Responsibilities
- Build and support impactful analytics tools including robust data models automated workflows and enterprise reporting solutions that enable data-driven decisions across Vista and its portfolio companies.
- Engage directly with internal teams and portfolio stakeholders acting as a proactive solutions-oriented partner in delivering analytics that drive business outcomes.
- Tackle ad hoc analysis with confidence using a variety of data sources to answer business-critical questions with speed and precision.
- Promote innovation through generative AI and advanced analytics uncovering new ways to accelerate insights and optimize operations.
- Contribute to a high-performing Analytics team transforming data into a strategic growth lever and advancing operational excellence across Vistas ecosystem.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of professional experience at a top-tier management consultancy investment bank or leading SaaS company (preferably in analytics FP&A or data strategy roles).
- Bachelors degree from a top undergraduate institution; preferred fields include Computer Science Finance Economics or other quantitative disciplines.
- Proven ability to distill complex data into strategic high-impact insights that influence executive decision-making.
- Expertise in financial modeling statistical analysis and business case development.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and build trust across diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple complex projects in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
- Experience with BI and data visualization platforms (e.g. Tableau PowerBI)
- Familiarity with enterprise systems (e.g. Salesforce NetSuite Marketo) and financial planning platforms (e.g. Anaplan Adaptive Insights) is a strong plus.
